TARGET CANADA
Logo Design, Branding, Print
In this project, I had the opportunity to design icons and pictograms for Target Canada, specifically representing eight different store departments. These icons were crucial for various purposes such as in-store signage, print campaigns, and web design. One of the key requirements was that these icons needed to seamlessly integrate with the Target Corporate Logo.
To ensure consistency and cohesion, I employed a common design vocabulary for all the icons. They were developed in such a way that they shared a cohesive visual style, including elements such as color palette, shape, form, weight, and line. This approach helped establish a recognizable and unified visual identity across all the store departments.
Working on this project provided me with valuable experience in collaborating with a large-scale company like Target. Through this endeavor, I gained insights into navigating the dynamics and requirements of a prominent organization. Additionally, since it was Target Canada, it also presented an opportunity to enhance my skills in cross-cultural communication and foreign relations, considering the unique context of a Canadian subsidiary.
